1. Agreement

By creating an account or using LinguaHub ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

LinguaHub generates AI-powered language quizzes and homework, marks student submissions, and provides progress analysis to tutors. Features vary by plan (Solo and Studio).

3. Accounts & access codes

Access is granted via an access code issued after subscribing. You are responsible for keeping your code confidential and for all activity under your account. Do not share your code or resell access.

4. Subscriptions & billing

• Plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe: Solo $24/month (up to 20 students) and Studio $49/month (up to 50 students).
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
• We may change pricing with reasonable notice; changes apply from your next billing cycle.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: attempting to extract API keys or credentials; overloading or reverse-engineering the Service; uploading unlawful content; or using it to generate harmful or infringing material. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you enter.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the lesson materials and student information you provide. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to operate the Service (including sending it to our AI provider to generate quizzes). You confirm you have the right to submit any student data you enter — see our Privacy Policy.

7. Data storage & sync

To let you work across devices, your workspace (students, classes, quizzes, results and settings) is stored in cloud infrastructure and associated with your access code, and cached in your browser. We take reasonable steps to protect and back up data but do not guarantee it will always be available or free from loss or corruption. You are responsible for keeping your own records of anything important and for the confidentiality of your access code; anyone using your code can access and change your workspace. 8. Students & consent

Students do not hold accounts; tutors add students and share quiz links. Where a student is a minor, you confirm you have obtained any necessary consent from a parent or guardian before entering their details or sharing a link. You are solely responsible for your relationship with your students and for complying with the laws that apply to you.

9. AI-generated content

Quizzes are produced by an automated system and may occasionally contain errors. We provide a review and editing tool, and you are responsible for checking generated questions before sharing them with students. The Service is a teaching aid, not a guarantee of accuracy.

10. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change, and third-party providers (AI, payments, email, speech) may affect availability.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LinguaHub is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. On termination you may request export or deletion of your data.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LinguaHub and its operator from any claims, losses, or costs arising out of your use of the Service, the content or student data you submit, your breach of these terms, or your breach of any law or third-party right.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above, and your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
